ROME, NY — The Rome Arts Association’s first group exhibit this year at the Cinema Capitol Gallery is a Pandemic Art Show!
This show was originally planned for the month of April but, due to a scheduling change, has been expanded to include March. The drop-off dates are Friday, February 26th from 5-7 pm and Saturday, February 27th from 12-2 pm at 230 W. Dominick Street. We know that this is a fast-approaching deadline but hope that you will still consider exhibiting. The cost is $5 for RAA members, $10 for non-members, and free for K-12 students.
There are two very important things to note:
1. The artwork subject does NOT need to be COVID-related, just created during the course of the pandemic.
2. This show is open to everyone, not just RAA members. We are trying to showcase all of the artists in our community who have found a way to express their creativity during this time. We are also hoping to feature some students during Youth Art Month, so please encourage any local K-12 students you know to participate. The show will run from March 1st-April 30th, with a virtual reception on March 5th.
You can reach the RAA at firstname.lastname@example.org; PO 801 Rome, NY 13440; or call 315-338-4828.
